Dr. Kevin Ellis graduated from Life University with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Savannah State University, where he graduated with honors. During his undergraduate years, he served as a tutor in multiple science subjects. His passion for teaching continued in chiropractic school, where he quickly developed a proficiency for adjusting and began teaching his peers.
He connected with the team at Spine Stop Chiropractic early in his chiropractic education. From then he knew it was where he wanted to build his career. He spent the last six months of chiropractic school interning at several Spine Stop Chiropractic locations.
Dr. Ellis believes that the body has the ability to heal itself when given the proper conditions. He advocates for chiropractic care as the first step toward living a healthy lifestyle, which can reduce the need for costly procedures later. Dr. Ellis is a well-versed adjuster, utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to each patient's specific needs. As a former athlete, he has a passion for helping athletes perform at their optimal level.
Outside of work, Dr. Ellis enjoys staying active by playing a range of sports, from basketball to golf. He loves traveling and spending time with his family, who are spread across the country. Always seeking adventure, he moved to Kentucky from Atlanta for a new experience. Having grown up in the Northeast and then moving to the South during high school, Dr. Ellis has developed a keen interest in exploring different cultures. He has visited six countries and has many more on his travel list.
Chiropractic is Dr. Ellis' profession of choice because of his fascination with biology since childhood. It wasn't until college he discovered the power of chiropractic care and was inspired to pursue a career that promotes health through the body's natural healing abilities.
Dr. Ellis is committed to treating each patient as an individual, offering care tailored to their specific needs. Just like he did during a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where he provided free chiropractic care to the community.
